Born in 1973, Mohammed is a translator, simultaneous interpreter, trainer and international consultant. He has a master’s degree in translation from the University of Jordan (1999) and has worked extensively since 2000 in translation and training translators. He has delivered dozens of courses in translation and simultaneous interpreting at universities and consulted internationally on translation programs for translators working for international agencies including the General Secretariat of the Arab States of the Gulf (Saudi Arabia), United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI), United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and the Court System in the Sultanate of Oman. Mohammed is a certified legal translator and served as the vice-president for education and training of the Arab Professional Translators Society, a non-profit organization incorporated in Switzerland. He is also the author of some research published in international journals and two books, one on general translation and another on legal translation. He translated several books for international organizations. He became the President of Arab Professional Translators Society for a transitional period (September-October 2017) and is a member of the Jordanian Translators and Applied Linguists Association. He translated several books from Arabic into English and published peer-reviewed papers in Arab and British journals. He works at the moment as a freelance translator and consultant.
